Monday 11th to Friday 15th September 2017
Monday we went to Naxxar so Sam could have a final physio session. We went again to the Plazzo Parisio for breakfast; cappuccini, a waffle with honey and pancakes with Nutella. The rest of the day was taken up with supermarket shopping and work. For dinner we had a roasted blackened chicken with sweet potatoes.
Tuesday we worked mostly, clearing as much work as we can ahead of our holiday. For dinner we had spaghettini arabbiata.
Wednesday Chris and Tina came around for dinner and we had a great time. We ate crostini with blue cheese, kiwi, walnuts and pesto, followed by beetroot bourguignon with roasted potatoes and puff pastry, then a strawberry and kiwi pavlova. It was all excellent.
Thursday we worked to clear our desks. For dinner we had roasted vegetables with feta and olives, a firm favourite.
Friday we packed and for dinner we had pizzas topped with left over veg, feta and olives from last night. They were amazing! Today was also a short day. We have to leave the flat at 4am tomorrow morning to go to the airport so today we had dinner at 6.30 and were in bed by 8!
